“Writing, walking, weaving, drawing, between storytelling, Process & Memory.”

Colombian artist, Luisa Brando, will present her Art work and Research process about the dichotomy between tradition and development. Inviting to see the line as a process, as a metaphor of impermanence and nature.  This is part of her Thesis Project of her Master in Design Studies at Harvard University, a three month Research around Japan centered on Ise Jingu Temple, a space and metaphor that led to a new perception of time through process and memory.

コロンビア人アーティストのルイサ・ブランドが、伝統と開発の二項対立に関する作品とリサーチ・プロセスを発表します。
線を、刹那と自然のメタファー、プロセスとして捉えるよう、鑑賞者に促します。本展は、ハーバード大学デザイン大学院修士課程に在籍するブランドの論文プロジェクトの一部であり、プロセスと記憶を介した新たな時間知覚へと導く空間とメタファーである伊勢神宮を中心とした日本での3ヶ月間のリサーチの成果です。
